David enlisted on October 25th of 2000. After Marine Corps Boot Camp and School of Infantry, David reported to a Marine Reserve Unit in Grand Rapids, MI. He then deployed to the Middle East twice, before being medically retired due to an injury sustained in combat.

Brian joined the Marine Corps in December 2001. He was stationed in Kaneohe Bay, Hawaii with 1st Battalion 3rd Marines. Brian was deployed to Fallujah, Iraq in 2004 as a part of Operation Phantom Fury.

Rebecca was born in New York and enlisted in the Army in 2005 as a radio technician. In 2014, Rebecca had a non-combat injury to her foot which resulted in foot reconstruction, and two subsequent limb salvage surgeries.

Craig joined the Marine Corps in September 2000. After the attacks on 9/11, Craig was assigned to a provisional rifle company for the invasion of Iraq. Craig’s combat deployment really affected his transition into the civilian world upon his discharge.

Marcel was born in Haiti and now lives in FL with his wife and four girls. Marcel is currently the Assistant VP for cyber threats and vulnerabilities at Deutsche Bank. He also serves as a Captain in the Florida Army National Guard Cyber Security Team.

Luis Avila, originally from Metairie, LA joined the United States Army in 2000. He was an enlisted soldier and obtained his commission via Officer Candidate School (OCS) in 2004.

Clint Bruce was born in Arkansas and raised in Texas. A standout football player, Bruce was given the opportunity to play at multiple Division I programs. Ultimately, Bruce took his sense of patriotism and passion for the game to the United States Naval Academy.

BJ Ganem grew up in Savannah, GA and joined the Marine Corps in 1996 after his first year in college. His recruit training took place at Paris Island, SC from there he went to Infantry Training School in Jacksonville, NC.
