Andrew Smith
Andrew Smith served as an infantryman with the US Army's 10th Mountain Division from 2002-2005. On September 20th 2003, his life was changed forever when Andrew was hit with shrapnel from an IED (Improvised Explosive Device).

The lessons he learned during deployment in Fallujah, his injuries and recovery have fueled a very personal drive; to support and empower veterans as they re-invent civilian lives and re-direct the leadership skills learned on deployment to become new and effective leaders across our nation.

Andrew now works with Rooftop Missions as Director of Rooftop India. He oversees 140 churches throughout India as well as an orphanage. The orphanage offers children safety from being swept up in the sex trafficking industry.

In March of 2015, Andrew Smith received an American Dream Grant for personal development in leadership. Now a certified John Maxwell coach and leadership speaker, Andrew leads workshops, seminars, and coaching aimed at aiding personal and professional growth through study and practical application of proven leadership methods. Andrew's passion lies in helping to move individuals, teams, or organizations in the direction they need to go to reach their goals.

Since joining Rooftop Missions and becoming a John Maxwell Team member, Andrew has had the opportunity to train leaders in the United States, India, Cuba and the Dominican Republic.

As much as he enjoys speaking and traveling, Andrew’s most cherished moments are shared with his beautiful wife and 3 amazing children.
